Trastra Limits Explained & FAQ

Trastra is an incredibly handy solution to a relatively new problem for crypto enthusiasts. But, understanding their fee and limit structure is crucial to getting the most out of a Trastra account – which is what we’re trying to do today. We’re going to give a very quick and easy-to-understand breakdown of Trastra’s account limits and follow it up with a few commonly asked questions (and their answers).

Trastra Limits 101

Before we can move into answering a few questions, the most important bit is first – Trastra’s account limits. These are actually pretty well-organized and easy to understand, so let’s take a peek.

What Are the Trastra Limits?

Trastra’s limits, like its fees, are incredibly easy to understand. They take the standard industry limits and apply a bit of love to them, resulting in a surprisingly forgiving e-money service.

Generally, Trastra breaks its limits down into three categories: Card limits (standard), card limits (pro), and crypto limits. While each will vary somewhat based on your account’s verification and use status, overall, they’re pretty static. First up are the standard Trastra card limits.

What is the limit of an unverified Trastra account?

This is a difficult question to answer for one reason. Most similar services (P2P or e-money) will allow registered but unverified users to still send and receive money. Trastra, on the other hand, operates with crypto almost exclusively (though they technically do currency conversion, too).

The reason we say this is a difficult question to answer is that there is no limit. While you can theoretically upload funds without verifying, you’ll be unable to do anything with those funds until you’ve verified your account.

Essentially, the way this works is as follows:

  1. You register for a Trastra account and upload funds.
  2. You verify your account with the proper documentation.
  3. Within 48 hours, you’re given a multicurrency crypto wallet and are able to order a Trastra card.
  4. From there on, the limits discussed above apply to you.

Without step three, there’s no way for you to actually do anything with your money. To spend, receive, or send funds with Trastra, you need a verified account with either a crypto wallet or a Trastra card.

The short answer is that there is no limit on unverified Trastra accounts. The long answer is that while there are no limits, you can’t do anything that would make you meet a limit until verifying your account.

How much money can you have on Trastra?

This varies depending on what you consider money. If you mean strictly fiat currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.), then the limit is a very strict €8,000 on your Trastra card. However, if you mean cryptocurrency, the answer is a bit different.

For cryptocurrency accounts, you can have a pretty hefty amount of value in your crypto wallet. Trastra sets the monthly limit for crypto purchases to €25,000, meaning you could theoretically have €300,000 in your crypto wallet in one year.

Ultimately, this all goes to say that Trastra’s max limits are pretty flexible. Fiat currency on your Trastra card is limited to €8,000, though crypto limits are far more forgiving.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, no matter how you cut it, Trastra is an excellent option for crypto enthusiasts. It offers an absolutely incredible fee structure, incredibly reasonable limits, and makes the process of registering and verifying as seamless and painless as possible.

Whether you’re just getting into crypto or  you’re a seasoned crypto bro, give Trastra a try – you’ll be surprised at how great it is.
